Anna Douglas

Principal

I am an experienced litigator, having worked for more than fifteen years in large law firms in both Australia and England, as well as inhouse in Australia for several publicly listed companies.

I was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the Federal Courts of Australia in 2000, and was admitted to practice in the Courts of England and Wales in 2007.

I have a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Arts from Flinders University, majoring in Psychology. I have a keen legal mind and an eye for detail, and believe in working closely with businesses to understand their business imperatives.

Throughout my career, even whilst in-house, I focussed on dispute resolution. I therefore have a unique perspective from "both sides of the fence" – what external lawyers need to do to provide the best possible service for clients, and what disputes look and feel like from a business’s “front line” perspective.
