My Approach
My extensive experience across commercial law includes particular focus on mergers, acquisitions and divestments. My work history has encompassed national and international roles within private practice litigation and in-house roles in both ASX-listed and large privately-held companies.
My expertise is sector-agnostic, though I do specialise in working with companies that are navigating heavy technical, stakeholder and global compliance demands. I have a wealth of experience in the heavy industry, mining and resources sectors in particular and some of the complex project that I have been involved in include the SIMEC Mining sale in Whyalla and green energy projects enabling green iron ore and steel making.
As a barrister and solicitor who works hand-in-glove with my clients, I bring depth and richness of understanding from both external and internal perspectives. Clients tell me I'm their go-to for risk assessment, commercial advice and as a trusted sounding board. I'm good at seeing all angles without a fixed perspective, and take pride in helping stakeholders reach mutual understanding with strategic commercial benefits.
A community-builder at heart, I have also served on boards for peak bodies, not-for-profits and commercial businesses.
